docuteam cosmos consists of the following components:
The setup of your docuteam cosmos archive includes the installation of the data synchronization service for the data upload/download and the necessary workflow on our central ingest server as well as the installation of the repository (Fedora Commons) and the backup. If required, this also includes the configuration and testing of data submissions from various systems.
You receive the required software as a service. You do not need to install or operate it yourself. We host digital archives in secure Swiss data centers and ensure a redundant backup.
If necessary, we will also take care of the work required for archiving and preservation on behalf of your institution. Our archivists supervise the archiving processes and carry out all tasks associated with this.
docuteam cosmos is our cloud solution for digital long-term archiving. It enables public entities or private companies and organizations to keep digital documents available in the long term, across generations of software, hardware, and file formats. The platform is based on the OAIS standard (Open Archival Information System, ISO 14721:2012).
This makes docuteam cosmos suitable for municipalities, companies, and other organizations that do not wish to develop their archiving infrastructure on-site or focus on other competencies in their archive.
